In 2010, the Department of Labour approached allfields to help roll out a two part schedule with Records Management training and system training in their Electronic Document and Records Managment System (EDRMS). This included building the training programmes and documentation, as well as delivering system and records training.
Allfields provided high quality training and support to the Department’s EDRMS implementation of OpenText Content Server 10. They produced easy to use professional training resources and their training and overall support were excellent.
They were an integral part of a successful implementation.

our approach
Allfields worked with the Deptartment of Labour (DoL) to build the records management training in such a way that would prepare staff for the change of and EDRMS and understand why this was happening, why it was important and what would be changing. This was a very successful training module with nearly all staff attending a training session and finding the benefit in records management.
The Department of Labour decided to go with a relatively new EDRMS (Content Server 10) which they branded Pataka. Allfields were able to work closely with DoL to ensure that each team was trained specifically in the areas they needed and provided on site support with helping to install Pataka on staff machines after the training.
Allfields handled all training documentation, as well as booking staff onto sessions, following up with staff before their training session, re-booking staff; and support after the training. We understand that staff need some time in their own environment to digest their training, so we supported this with floorwalking after the training and organising further one-on-one sessions with teams who had more advanced questions.
